🧍♂️Reporter
This section allows administrators to add and manage external reporters — individuals who report issues, bugs, or requests related to a specific project, but are not system users.
Overview
The Reporter module provides a centralized place to record and manage information about people outside the system who report issues or requests.
These may include clients, field agents, QA testers, or end-users who are not registered users of the system but contribute to project feedback or bug reporting.
Each reporter entry is linked to a specific project, ensuring that the origin of every reported item can be easily tracked and referenced.
Details / Purpose
The purpose of this module is to maintain accountability and transparency by linking external individuals to the items they have reported.
It allows teams to capture the identity of non-system users who raise issues or feedback, without requiring them to have login access.
This module helps teams:
Record who submitted a report, even if they are not a registered user
Track reports and communication with external stakeholders
Maintain a clean mapping between project items and their origin
Include external contributors in reports, dashboards, and analytics
🔗 Relationship with Project:
Each reporter is linked to one project.
Projects can have multiple reporters.
A reporter’s name and contact details are used as a reference in issues, bugs, or CRs.
Reporters are not system users and do not have login access.
