Navigation: Configuration β†’ Severity

Overview

The Severity module provides a structured way to classify the seriousness or urgency of issues, tasks, or defects in the system.

It supports grouping severity levels under standard categories like Minor, Major, Critical, and Show Stopper, while also allowing customization of their appearance for quick visual recognition.

Each severity can include display attributes such as Text Color, Background Color, and Icon Class to improve readability and clarity in user interfaces.

Details / Purpose

The purpose of this module is to maintain consistent, visually distinguishable severity levels across projects. By grouping severities and providing color-coded representations, administrators can make it easier for users to identify priority items instantly.

This helps teams:

  • Classify and prioritize issues accurately

  • Create a clear visual hierarchy of severity in reports and task lists

  • Enhance user experience with color-coded and icon-based displays

  • Ensure consistent definitions of issue criticality across the system
