This section allows administrators or project managers to create, manage, and track sprints — defined time periods where a set of backlog items are planned, developed, and delivered.
Overview
The Sprint module provides the ability to organize and manage iterations (sprints) within a project.
Each sprint has a Start Date, End Date, and a status, and is linked to backlog items that must be completed within that duration.
This module supports Agile project tracking and connects directly with the Backlog Module, enabling backlog items to be assigned, filtered, and reported by sprint.
Details / Purpose
The purpose of the Sprint Module is to structure work into manageable time-bound cycles, promoting incremental progress and improving project visibility. It helps teams plan, prioritize, and deliver features or fixes in a consistent rhythm.
This module helps teams:
Plan and define clear sprint timelines
Group backlog items under a specific sprint
Track sprint progress, pending work, and completion status
Evaluate sprint performance through reports or dashboards
🔗 Relationship with Other Modules:
Each Sprint belongs to a Project.
Each Backlog Item can be assigned to one Sprint.
Sprint details (dates, status) control which backlogs are considered active or historical.
