πŸ—οΈ Locale Resource

The Locale Resource Section appears within the Language Edit Page, allowing administrators to manage translation key-value pairs (localized texts) specific to the selected language.

Navigation: Configuration β†’ Language β†’ Edit (Resource Tab)

Overview

The Locale Resource section provides the ability to define, update, and manage localized text for UI labels, messages, and system strings within a specific language.

Each translation entry consists of a Resource Key (a unique identifier) and a Localized Value (the translated text).

This section ensures that all parts of the system β€” including forms, buttons, alerts, and emails β€” can display correctly in the user’s chosen language.

Details / Purpose

The purpose of this section is to make it simple for administrators or translators to manage text translations directly while editing a language configuration. It eliminates the need for separate translation files or manual edits by allowing updates inline within the system.

This section helps teams:

  • Manage localized text directly inside the language editor

  • Add new translations or update existing ones on the fly

  • Maintain a consistent translation dictionary across all UI and notifications

  • Support multilingual user interfaces efficiently

πŸ’‘ Example: When editing the β€œFrench” language, you can add:

  • Label.SaveButton β†’ Enregistrer

  • Msg.InvalidLogin β†’ Identifiants invalides

βš™οΈ Behaviour:

  • Keys are shared globally, but localized values are language-specific.

  • Missing values fall back to the default system language.

  • Admins can search, edit, or import keys directly from this section.

⚠️ Note:

  • All locale resources added here are tied to the current language only.

  • System caches localized values for better performance; refresh cache after bulk updates.
